You know how you see those glorious photo ideas on Pinterest, and you are like, oh I can do that? Click. Pinned. So, I really wanted to recreate this sweet photo with our little guy, Tripp.
I saved this little treasure last fall when I came across it. I quickly did the calculations. He would be the perfect age. Perfect size in the fall. I pinned this and anxiously awaited fall to arrive. So the glorious day came. My husband accompanied me to the store as I critiqued every pumpkin. This one is too small, this one is too big, this one is too squatty, this one is too tall. It was like a scene from the Halloween addition of the 3 little bears. Minus the bears of course. And then, like a beacon in the night, the pumpkins parted and there she was. Just perfect. We took her home and I quickly cleaned her out and cut the leg holes out, grabbed my sweet little man and we headed to the pumpkin patch to take some pictures. So mine must look just like this one, right? Um, no.
We did not take into consideration our son's willingness to be placed into a pumpkin.
